I am wearing a lovely pair of bleached torn jeans in which I used to drown only one year ago. Now they almost perfectly fit me... I am quite pleased with myself.

Mp3 is playing all kinds of songs for my personal amusement. On my today's list are entre autres

- Inkubus Sukkubus : A combination of gothic metal, rock and punk. They swing, if in a dark kind of way. I like the female vocals.

- Aethyria: They play doom/stoner(?) metal and are positively mad. If you should ever want to start a sect, I know just the soundtrack... It's interesting though. They are very creative with both instruments and vocals. The cd features melow death and gothic metal as well as a lots of a capella and new age style parts.

- Thy Majestie: Very medievally influenced. You can see strongholds and knights pass by when you close your eyes. Optimistic traditional metal.

- Ancient Tragedy: Dark wave/noise. I am not too fond of these typical low gothic voices. They don't appeal to me at all.

- Arthur: Now here's a band that earns my respect. They have names such as ELP, Yngwie Malmsteen and Bach on their cd's. I fancy my brother should like them.

Hans' current entry is about a film of belgian production, "C'est arrive pres de chez vous." It's very 'cynical and hard', in his own words. It got to me. You should get a gb though night.

~Today I read:~
"She walks in Beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes"

Good old Lord Byron. Imagine such lines being written for you.
That would be the way really to seduce me. No impressive muscels, no sports skills for Jen. Just a few modest stanzas will do it. Don't say I'm not easy to get.

C'mon, give it a go!
