{16082001}I arrived late at work today -9:20-, which means this going to be a long day. I am no supporter of getting up early, but at least this allows you to get at home at a reasonable time and enjoy the rest of your evening. Although when I get home I am often too exhausted to do anything else but eat, spend some time in front of the computer and go to bed. This week, however, I have been able to go for a drink with Christophe &friends on Monday, AND go to Marktrock on Tuesday with Katherina. Ok, I wasn't exactly feeling well, but I did it, right?
The girl I have been sharing an office with, has left on holiday. A french-speaking, foreign-looking man has taken over her place. He seems nice. We talk a little now and then, which conversations leave me each time wondering where on earth I learnt all these perfectly french sounding phrases. French never used to be my best subject at school.
They are still too busy to give me some decent work here, so I'm just surfing around a bit, adding things to my page and deleting them again, and conversing by email with a few friends. My inspiration has been at a low level these past days, I still have 6, 7 poems begging me to finish them. They are bugging me, to be honest.
What is bugging me even more is this soddingly gorgeous keyboard. I know I won't be able to resist it, once I've touched its shiny black&white full tests, once I've heard it's throbbing bass... No, there won't be a way back. Beside, I need *something* to practise on for my piano lessons. I am moving out in one month, leaving an almost new Yamaha piano at home. Bugger.

~Today I heard:~
Chatting to Alain.
I: "Of course, you had a reputation to keep up."
he:"Yeah, I tried not to sound too intelligent."
I am so proud of my friends.*
Music:
Mozart's Haydn Quartets. String quartets can be boring, these are quite the opposite. Gorgeous.*
