Coricopat is part of a mystical set of twins, Tantomile and Coricopat. He and Tant are the ones that sense Old Deuteronomy, so they probably have insightful powers, if not magical ones like Mr. Mistoffelees. People usually think they're either mates or sisters (I think they're mates, due to, er... activities in the Mating Dance.)
