Gus is the cat at the theatre door. At least, he was in his balmier days. Now he's an old guy that likes to remember being Firefrorefiddle, the Fiend of the Fell and Growltiger. His daughter (or mate, in some fanfictions) Jellylorum tries to keep his spirits up by making him remember happier things than how he'll never get to be a Theatre Cat again, but it's too hard, and poor Gus breaks down because he knows he'll never be a Theatre Cat again. Let's just hope he gets to go to the Heavyside Layer next year!
