Grizabella used to be a glamour cat, admired by cats around the junkyards. Now she is just trying to get the cats in her old tribe, the Jellicle Junkyard, to admire her enough to accept her. In her heartwrenching song, 'Memory', she gets the cats to realize that she is sorry for her mistakes and just wants to try again. Finally, they accept her and she gets to go to the Heavyside Layer.
