Macavity certainly is a mystery cat! The theories about him range from just being misunderstood to a merciless kitten killer (gulp!) That just makes him all the better. Since Bombalurina and Demeter are the ones to warn the Jellicles about him, it's pretty much a given they were involved with him. How... there are just as many theories on that! It's also sometimes believed that Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer work/worked with him. His mate is sometimes Griddlebone, sometimes Bombalurina, and sometimes (usually unwillingly)Demeter.
