Mr. Mistoffelees is the magical cat of the tribe. He's also the target of most fanfictions, in which his mate can be Victoria, Jemima, Bombalurina, or Rumpleteazer, but it's usually a "new Jellicle." His best friend might be Rum Tum Tugger, but their relationship is rocky at best. (After all, he does call the Tugger a "terrible bore!") In some fanfictions he works for/ is kidnapped by Macavity, and is generally the favorite cat of all the Jellicles.
