Welcome to my site. Special thanks to Angelfire for being my host and to Digital Blasphemy. Without them this site would not be here.

So what do you want to know about me. Yes I am a Scorpio. Not sure if I believe totally in astrology; however, I am made of stardust, like the planets and the stars of the universe. My body is 90% carbon, nitrogen, and other chemical elements that are created in the nuclear furnace of a burning star. I do believe the planets have an influence on our birth. So do many other things. I am a combination of them all. There are many things in my astrological natal chart I agree with and some I really do not agree with. One of the things I disagree with is "my sting". I believe that we should always be kind to one another. It never serves a good purpose to be hurtful to anyone. Sure we do hurt people but hopefully it is always unintentional and hopefully we can applogize when all is said and done.

Life holds a challenge for all of us. We all have our hopes and fears. I believe that each day brings us a lesson. Each person we meet is brought into our lives for a reason. We only learn when we are open to the experience.

Most of my writings you will see here were written at times when I was deeply moved by certain people or circumstances in my life. They do not reflect the whole me. Personally, I think I am a very complicated person at times. Sometimes I think of myself as being as obscure as the planets and the stars that are hidden by clouds of dust and gas. Other times I can be right out there. Guess that may be why I may fit the sign of Scorpio so well. Hmmmm, am I mysterious? It's also true that I can be headstrong at times but I can always bounce back and listen..just need to be reminded at times.

I love people who share their thoughts in life with real feeling. I dislike head games. I love honesty. We are all human beings on a planet that is filled with life. Not all of us have had the same experiences in life but it makes no difference when you are "REAL". Margery Williams wrote the book: "The Velveteen Rabbit". It is one of my favorite stories about being real. A quote from the book: "Real isn't how you are made," said the Skin Horse. "It's a thing that happens to you. When child loves you for a long, long, time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become real." "Does it hurt?" asked the Rabbit. "Sometimes," said the Skin Horse, for he was always truthful. "when you are Real you don't mind being hurt." "Does it happen all at once, like being wound up," he asked, "or bit by bit?" "It doesn't happen all at once," said the Skin Horse. "You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have been carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand.

I have been given many blessings in my life. All of which I thank God for. Even times I considered not to be blessings have molded me in ways that give credit to my character. I think it is all in how we face the day. We can hide and feel sorry for ourselves forever or we can become a stronger person with character. I look at life as a lesson in wisdom. We learn from our experience and it is our challenge to either learn something worthwhile or something that will add little value to who we are inside.

So, is this beginning to sound like a "lecture"? Well that's another trait of mine..when I go on to explain things I can sound like I am "lecturing". I am not trying to. So have fun, visit anytime and be sure to drop me a line.
