Tears
Crashing waves in the storm
like heart beats telling my soul
to love and be loved
Lightening flashes and I run away
to a quiet place along the shore
as rain falls upon my tears
In the rain tears do not exist
In solitude no one sees
and no one hears what is inside
Silence, safety, silence
The storm moves fiercely on
And my tears fall in the storm
