Malayan Tapirs in Australia
and New Zealand

Melbourne Zoo has only just become involved in the Malayan Tapir program. They already hold Brazilian Tapirs.

FEMALES	Semangka, the first Malayan Tapir to be born in Australia. She arrived at Melbourne Zoo from Taronga in October 2001.
