Chapter I

How the Green Squadron won their fame

Once long long ago, 15 outrageous pilots took a stand against the evil Empire, there are known as the Green Squadron. They were assembled when the Empire started taking over small colonies and destroying small planets and depriving them of their freedom. The pilots that were in the squad were Legend, Legend was a very noble person with great fighting abilities and he was also very wise. Next there was Eagle, he was the apprentice of Legend and was determined to become a great starfighter pilot like his master. Togorian was a great Flight Leader as well as he was a strategist. He could make even the most complicated things seem easy and plan them out so they would work perfectly. And the pilots in his flight were outstanding in there flying and bombing abilities, they could hit even the most smallest targets with pin point accuracy and fly through all the cross fire like it was just a bunch of charoks. And then we have Merlin_123 he could take a battle and make is seem like he was shooting swamp rats, and he trained his pilots to be the best fighters of all of TRA and they could cut through tie fighters like a hot knife blade through butter. Last but not least there was Marvin, he was the most psychotic pilot there was and he would scare the enemies off with his Ywing, even though it was the most un-menouverable ship that the TRA had. He would train his pilots to fly in any ship and whoop azz in them, they could take out 50 tie fighters blindfolded in a Z-95. And so we begin our journey…

Chapter II The beginning of the end

All the pilots were sleeping in their beds when a sharp and stinging alarm went off, all the pilots waited there orders with mixed emotions. They all were from green Squadron and they had been training for months on end practicing in the flight simulators and preparing for the upcoming battle everyone knew we would have, and now the time had come to put all those hours of practicing to the test. Over the intercom a voice said “ all pilots report to their ships and prepare for take off, and all hands report to their stations, this is not a drill, I repeat this is not a drill.” Everyone in the quarters started to get their gear on. They all prayed and some just tried to pretend that they weren’t scared. They all started to fall out and go to their ships. When they got to the main hangar they all reported in to make sure no one had chickened out and hid on the closet. They were all about to get in their ships when Legend stood up to say a few words before they went into battle. Everyone quieted down to listen, he said “Well, this is the moment we have been practicing for and I believe all of you can do it. We have all had a good time together, and I hope none of you forget that, because when we go into battle some of us might not return. I want all of you to fly your best and remember this, may the force be with you all.” Everyone got up and saluted him. He went to his ship and told all of us over the ships intercoms to stay calm and if you have to retreat that’s alright, but I hope all of you will flight with honor and skill. Everyone started calling into their intercoms “Green 1 reporting in” “Green 3 reporting in” “Green 4 reporting in” And all the rest reported in. We were all waiting patiently for the signal to go, as the tension rised we herd this music blasting through the intercom, it was and old sing called “Fly Into the Danger Zone” Marvin had decided we needed a little encouragement. Well all listened to the music and we all got ready, then all of the sudden the intercom shouted “Go, Go, Go” All the ships blasted out of the hangar of the War Monger and set there power settings the way they liked, some flew ahead, others flew behind, but we all had the same target, the Empires new and improved Super Death Star, with even more power than the last and now as many week points. Some flew in Awings, some flew Bwings, and they all had their different purposes. In the end it all broke down to a few tasks Kill, Kill, Kill. They had to crush the biggest shop ever and destroy all there ships to, but we had all the pilots from green and other squads as well. As we were on our way to the ship other squads joined the herd and prepared for the major battle ahead, we all prepared for the jump to light speed, and then SHWISHSHS we all entered hyperspace, we came out behind a planet where the ship was hiding so they wouldn’t detect us right away. As we were flying around to get a look we got hit from all over the place, everyone’s missile warning systems went off and they all scrambled. We couldn’t see anything until we realized they were Missile ships and they had spotted us. Lucky for us they were out of transmission range from the super death star and it was a small convoy and we had to work hard and fast to prevent them from getting into contact range, we all lined up out sights and blasted away. One by one they all got destroyed, they were easy targets but some people were not so lucky. The missiles had hit some ships and they would never return. We all gathered on the edge of missile range and prepared our missiles to fire at the huge target, as soon as we entered the missile range the we fired everything at that monstrous ship and got the hell out of there before it could shoot missiles back, we circled the planet and attacked from the other side, then like a black cloud of chonkeys a swarm of tie fighters attacked and killed at least 5 pilot’s right away, we all took evasive action and targeted them in our laser sights. I herd pilots calling for backup all over the place I decided to go to the nearest pilot and help him. I said, “What is your situation?” The other pilot reapplied “I need help, and fast, I can’t shake him!” I flew like a bat out of hell to get to him and before the tie fighter could get a good solid lock I used quad fire and made a direct hit and blew him to space dust. The other pilot said “thank you so much, I am grateful!” I said “No problem, can you handle them now?” He replied “ Yes sir!” The battle continued for 15 hours before it ended and by the time it did, everyone was so tired and a lot of pilots were dead, especially the new recruits who just seemed to disappear. The remaining pilots headed home but little did they realize that the super death star had not been destroyed but only scratched. Some pilots had no choice and had to bail, but they were later picked up by the back up crew, we all hypered out of that bloody and gory reechoed place. We all returned with our heads hung in shame, we had taken so many casualties that the rebellion seemed to be crushed. A lot of the pilots had lost there will to fight and as for the other pilots they were ready to fight again. Some were injured so bad that they were almost dead by the time they had reached the medical freighter. In the debriefing for Green Squad there were only a handful of pilots left, it seemed the end for Green Squadron.

Chapter III The aftermath

After the battle our forces pulled out and we went to a far planet known better as Tatooin. We all were very tired from the fighting and some were still hyped and scared. We made the jump and when we arrived we all sighed with releif. We had all been gone for years on end, and now it was time for a little Rest and Relaxation. Most pilots went to the bars right away, others went to see their families. As for the rest, they wanted to have some peace and quiet. We all had our ways of calming down and relaxing. The night was still young and most of us were ready to party all night long. When we all woke up the sun was rising and we could see the wonderful planet that we orbeted around, it was glowing molten red, but it wasn’t hot. A lot of us had hangovers and were sick to our stomachs, but that was ok, we were all having a great time. I said to my pilots “Well if we are going to keep in shape lets do a little jog.” Some pilots moaned, while others wanted to make sure they were in tip top condition. Legend thought it would be a good idea if we all had a little jog in the coll mouring mist. Later that day me and Marvin went to the local speeder race and entered in it. They had no clue we were starfighter pilots so we knew we would win the race, I mean it wouldn’t hurt to have a little extra cash in our pokets. So we got some ships ready and brought them to the race field, some of the pilots from green came to watch. The race was just about to begin so we started the engins. There were at least 50 people in that race and most would be either knocked out the first few laps or would breakdown, or even run out of fuel. We pulled up to the starting line and put out helmets on. The lights turned green and we blasted off the starting line, Marvin and I were 3 and 4 and we had gotten a good start, some of the people next to us crashed and ejected. We on the other hand blew past the people and started biting at the leaders heals. He was determined not to let us by but eventually we overcame him and we took the lead, now it was a race between Marvin and I. We raced around the corners at full speed, finally the last lap. The tention was high to see who was the best pilot, Marvin or Merlin. Who was it going to be everyone asked, some people didn’t know where to place their bets and at the last moment placed them. We saw the finish line and put it to full throttle with boosters. We grew closer and closer and finally we passed the finish line, we had no idea who won. We looked at the instant replay screen and it was a tie, it had never happened before, and the croud was going crazy. They applauded and cheared. We both stood up and took a bow. Later that night we claimed out winnings and spent it on goodies.
