Hard to believe but it was October when we last updated our page. Time certainly does fly.

Our sixers and seconders went off to receive important training (like in how to be a sixer or seconder) in October. All of them passed with flying colours. For Remembrence Day this year we did something a little different. We visited with other packs over a St. George's on the Hill where we saw movies and got to meet and hear stories from WW2 veterans plus how Canada's troops today assist in peace keeping missions.

In late November the cubs all went to detective school. This was a real hoot as we learned how to fingerprint, check footprints, take sneaky photographs and other things that we would never learn in school. And best of all a host of guests got to enjoy the evening as well as it was "bring a friend night". A perfect way to show other aspiring cubs that we sometimes do neat things.

In early December the group spent a Saturday deliverying Christmas boxes to assist with the community awareness and service badge. Knot night was a hoot when we got to lassoo Scouter Pat and pretend to rescue him (we didn' t really want to but we had to). But a real
