Richard Isaacman of Cornell on the basis of a theoretical model originally
devised by Stephen H. Dole of the Rand Corporation. The assumptions behind such
calculations are probably too simple at present, but the excercise is thought to
be suggestive. Numbers above hypothetical planets denote mass in multiples of
earth's mass. Horizontal scale indicates semimajor axes of planets' orbits.
