Vessel Stability has been calculated using criteria defined by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) as detailed in their Blue Code of Practice for the Safety of Small Commercial Sailing Vessels ( Publication: ISBN 0115511849). 'Free Spirit' achieves a Category 0 rating allowing 'Unrestricted Service'. This is the highest rating. A copy of the Stability Booklet for 'Free Spirit' is posted on this website.
