The Fujitaka-Eriol Nadeshiko-Tomoyo Angle
Ah yes,one of the main strings pulling this couple together.We all discovered the bizzare fact that Eriol and Fujitaka are the reincarnations of Clow Reed.How the heck it happened TOTALLY beats me.
We also learned that Sonomi wanted her daughter to to look like her favorite cousin,Nadeshiko,who happens to be,ahem,Fujitaka's beloved wife.
Fujitaka is to Eriol as to Nadeshiko is to Tomoyo,so therefore..^_^
Hoe??How about Kaho and Sakura?
Kaho,I believe,is older than Touya,who's older than Eriol (technically).Eriol may be the reincarnation of Clow Reed,but he said it himself that he is not Clow Reed himself,meaning,he's just Eriol Hiiragizawa,the above-average 11-year-old piano extraordinaire of Tomoeda Elementary School.We're talking about major age gap here,folks!
The Kaho-Eriol couple which I think branched out from the last few scenes in Episode 70,(I'm not sure with the manga though)is nothing more than a special PLATONIC relationship between two people who think at the same level and have special powers.I think that's all there is to it.
Sakura,on the other hand,became Tomoyo's center of affection because she was closer to her than anyone else in the world.But heck,they're just kids!Give Tomoyo some time to grow up and she'll eventually break away from her second cousin.When Tomoyo finds the right person for her (who I wish with all my heart is Eriol),she would focus her attention on him.
