She pulled away suddenly and stared at me in shock. "W-What..why.."

I groaned. "I'm sorry."

Tomoyo seemed to forget about her grief for Sakura. She was staring at me with those big purple eyes inquisitively. "Hiragizawa-kun, you just kissed me."

"I know."

"That's all you can say?"

It was my turn to look at her inquiringly. "What else am I suppose to say?"

"Everything! Why did you kiss me?" she demanded.

"Because I want to."

"You maniac!" She stood up in a huff. "What a thing for a gentleman to say!"

"What reason do you want me to say?" I asked gently. I could sense something good in her last behavior.

She looked at me. "Well.." She quickly shook her head. "How should I know? It was you who did it so you should know why you did it!"

The corners of my mouth twitched. It's not everyday that I get to see the ever serene Daidouji Tomoyo mad. "But I reckon that you have an idea why I did it."

Her cheeks were slightly turning red. "Stop toying with me,Hiragizawa-kun! It's not funny anymore!"

I smiled innocently.

She turned into a delightfully deeper shade of red. Kami-sama, she's kissably beautiful! "T-There I was, crying my heart out to you and out of the blue you kiss me.."

"I was just trying to comfort you," I shrugged.

"What a cute way to do that!" she remarked sarcastically.

"I agree."

"Hiragizawa-kun!"

"Nani desu ka, Daidouji-san?"

She exhaled sharply. "Fine, I'll tell you what I think is the reason why you did that."

"I'm all ears."

"Is it because..you got carried away?"

I grinned like a cheshire cat. "Hmm..maybe. Dig deeper."

"Is it because you like me a lot?" her voice dropped into an inaudible whisper.

I laughed heartily. "Does that mean that if I like Spinel a lot, I would kiss it too?"

"Well, knowing how eccentric you are, it's not a totally far-fetched possibility!" she shot back.

I laughed some more. "Daidouji-san, I'm giving you one last chance to answer my question right or else I'll kiss you again."

Her eyes grew big. She turned towards the door. "I'm leaving!"

I used my magic to make the door disappear. Sometimes, being the greatest sorcerer of the world has its perks.

"Hiragizawa-kun!!" she screeched.

"Yes?"

"Where's the door?!!"

"The door is out for lunch," I told her calmly. "But I'll show you the way out as soon as you give me an answer."

She sighed. "You're not playing fair! You have powers and I don't!"

"That's where you're wrong, Daidouji-san. You do have a strong power.. over the reincarnation of the greatest magician of the world," he replied.

"What on earth are you talking about?"

"I love you Daidouji-san," I confessed earnestly.

Her eyes grew wide in shock. "Y-You're kidding. Why should you fall in love with me?" she squeaked.

"I asked myself that question too, and I discovered a million and one answers. I'm willing to spend my lifetime writing them all for you just to prove it, but I think this would be more effective.." I boldly reached for her and sealed her lips with a passionate kiss.

I then felt her respond to my kisses. She could finally see each and every of those one million and one reasons.

We broke apart to catch our breaths.

"N-Naruhodo, Hiragizawa-kun." Her eyes were shining, and mine were too.

"Y-You're not mad at me anymore?" I asked hopefully.

"Damare, baka! You just made a fool out of me awhile ago and I intend to avenge every minute of it!" She crossed her arms over her chest. "Yes siree, Hiragizawa Eriol. Every minute I spent agonizing awhile ago would be equal to the weeks before I finally agree to be your girlfriend."

I looked at my watch and I sweatdropped. "That would be 12 minutes and 37 seconds."

"You would have to court me for 12 weeks and 37 days first before I become your girl!" she announced.

I sighed before I grinned. "Fine. Daidouji-san, how fortunate you are that despite the fact that I can use my Clow magic to make you fall for me, I never pulled that stunt."

She smiled coyly. "I know."
