The Great Spirit has sent to us the Spirits of the Woods, our friends

They sing to us in melodies that please the ears and eyes

They too play a role in our daily lives

The great trees shade us and provide food and fuel

The rivers give us water and are the home of many kinds of food

The rains give life to all plants and creatures

The winds spread the seeds of life to everywhere, ensuring our future

The flames burn away the old growth making way for the renewal of

the ground

We rejoice in the dance of life and Thank You, O Creator
