Partnership Articulation Agreement
This Notice should provide:
- A clear understanding that the Eastern Woodland Metis Nation Nova Scotia (EWMNNS) has been an affiliation of the Ontario Metis Allegiance, Port McNicoll (OMAP).
- That a Treaty has been drafted, accepted and signed by the necessary signatories who are officially recognized authorities of both the Provincial Provisional Council of the OMAP and EWMNNS Provisional Council as of this date, being August 8, 2002.
- That by having completed these necessary steps:
    1.) of dialogue to fruition
    2.) Affiliation to Treaty
Let it be known that the Eastern Woodlands Metis Nation of Nova Scotia shall have:
      - Complete autonomy over those who wish to participate, within their boundaries (Province) as affiliations in the Partnership Articulation Agreement (P.A.A).
      - The only recognized group of Metis within the Province of Nova Scotia, shall be the Eastern Woodland Metis Nation Nova Scotia as the official Provisional Council within that Province recognized by the Ontario Metis Allegiance, Port McNicoll.
      - That each signatory, (OMAP) and (EWMNNS), shall have autonomy, and remain as completely separate and distinct entities and identities within the prospective Provincial geographic boundaries.
