Many people try not to hear what the others say. They just want to hear their own voices; it's awful. Some time everybody will be talking to themselves. The result will be completely what they have never expected. I suggest that all of us stop talking for a while, there are a lot of people who never had the chance to speak to express themselves or at least they had never had the chance to be heard due to the noisy verbal commotion round them. Many people (elected ones especially) think that they know it all and that everybody else should just listen and applause. On the other hand there are many other people who have a lot of wise things to say but they keep aloof so as to avoid being ridiculed by the unwise people who speak their heads off without saying anything. These wise taciturn people are actually .. not politicians.
Politicians have always been talking all the time without even taking into account that they should stop for a while to hear feedback so as to know if what they said was heard or not. I personally think that some politicians say things they don't really believe in. Most of the time, they speak on purpose to make the folks follow them on a path (strategy) that is unknown to the politicians themselves. It's mere chaos. Most of what they say is speculation based on probabilities and assumptions. There is a lot of "may be" in their elocutions. I don't agree with the politicians who speak for the sake of speaking. Their speeches are orated for public consumption only. But I think most people are just talking creatures. Doers are mostly not talkers. I guess you have a proverb on the tip of your tongue right now; "Empty vessels make much noise".
Nowadays poor people pay for the crazy irresponsible speeches of the leaders who just want to show off. Many wars burst out just because some crazy politicians were long in their speeches. They wanted to hear the mob shouting, screaming and whistling. Politicians like these leaders of "words" would throw us in the pit for sure. This is the outcome of Democracy. Money can make politicians and politicians can make money through WARS. Where to with it? It's high time you listened to us. You've talked too much and our conditions are persistently going down. So Shut up and listen.

If it happens that we want really to work for the prosperity of the country through the prosperity of the citizens, we have to make war against our own selfishness. We have to stop thinking about our own profits first. These are the first steps to accomplish the pseudo-democratic society we all dream of. As someone styles it, "Democracy is not you are like me but I am like you". The other should be thought of the first otherwise we will be alone on the planet trying to protect ourselves against the rage of those whom we cheated and made suffer because they trusted us!
To put it short, "Live And Let The Others Live" .. so as to avoid the crush. Neither the rich nor the poor will live in peace and life will become a real hell for both. It is an advice, don't just take it but try to implement it. I always do! I must stop talking otherwise I'd be no better than politicians.
