| As a mother with two sons in the Army all the "momma moments" are overwhelming at times.~~Especially with everything that's going on these days.~~I searched the internet for a site that would allow me to connect with others who have children in the military and are carrying this also.~~Some place I could share my pride, fears and concerns.~~I couldn't find anything (could have been looking in the wrong places) for parents with children in the military so my Mom suggested I start one of my own.~~Although I knew nothing about putting together a web site - I took her up on her suggestion.~~As my skills improve so shall this site. |

I am a single mom of 4 children.~~Jenifer (25), my oldest and only daughter, has given me four wonderful grandchildren.~~Jacob (8), Mikayla (6), Kaleb (1) and Abi Jo (just a newbie  ).~~My oldest son, Justin (24), is stationed with the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg NC (Deployed to Afghanistan from Jan. thru August 2003 and has recently been deployed to Iraq).~~James (22), my middle son, is stationed at Ft. Hood in Texas and deploys for Iraq very, very soon.~~My baby, Jeremy (21), is currently working on an exotic animal ranch in southwest Texas -- that kind of stuff is right up his alley |
