Faith statement.......caution........these words may offend some. | |
We attend
Granger Community Church,
which is a church that is truly seeking God's heart. In these trying
times many people are turning to God. Many of us are saying "God
Bless America". If we truly want God to bless us, then
we first need to come into repentance. We as a great and mighty
nation demand our rights....and they are many,
There are some very simple commandments that we choose to ignore, Thou shalt not kill, yet we have Roe vs. Wade. You may say that an unborn fetus is not a living viable being, and that a woman has the right to choose what's right for her. God's word says that "He knew you while you were yet in the womb", that's proof enough to me that as unborn we are indeed worthy of life. I doubt that God values a mother's life more than her unborn's. We are also told to honor our mother and father, yet many of us choose institutions when our parents are aged, merely due to the fact that we simply don't have time, or choose not to make time. We once removed prayer from our schools, and now we have teenagers gunning down their peers at school. And still some ask how this could be? I pray that God holds back his judgement, but I believe that time is running out. In
these last days, there seems to be many roads that lead to God, we in America
have fallen into a "your o.k., I'm o.k." religion. When in fact
Jesus is the only one who actually paid a price for our wrong doings.
All religions recognized that Jesus Christ did indeed live, but merely
call him a great profit of God. If He had been a holy man of God and a great
profit of God, He would not lie about who He was. Jesus himself said
that "He was the way, the truth, and the life, and that
no man comes to the Father unless through Him. That many would come and
deceive us. Life does not suddenly get easier when one comes to Christ,
in fact it many times will become more difficult. He said to pick up your
cross and follow Him. He can lead us out of depression, take us through
illness, heal a broken heart, restore a broken marriage, and be there when we
merely call His name. | |
We
pray for the families of the 3,000 victims of 9/11/01.
