Due date: April 25th, 2002
Apr.22/02 - (40 Weeks) Dr. Appointment Well, today is my guess... and the doctor wants to induce me because my blood pressure is high today at 158/98. The plan was to go in tomorrow to be induced, but when I got back home from my appointment, the hospital had left a message to come in tonight... and after 3 hours of labour (yeah!) we have another baby boy! Liam Gerald Mason was born at 4:01am Apr.23rd, weighing 8lbs, 6oz.
Apr.16/02 - (39 Weeks) Dr. Appointment Okay, 9 more days until I'm officially due, I think I change my mind!! My guess is Apr.22nd will be the big day. 22nd's seem to run in our family so that's my guess, I'll say boy and 9lbs 4 oz... we'll see. Anthony is sitting straight up in bed with any little noise I make in my sleep so he's definitely ready!
Apr.8/02 - (38 Weeks) Dr. Appointment At this rate, I think I could be pregnant for a few more months. Blood pressure is 124/72, the lowest it's been since before I was pregnant.
Apr.2/02 - (37 Weeks) Dr. Appointment It's amazing what being off of work does for you, I'm feeling so much better. My back is almost normal and my cold is just about gone. Blood pressure is good, weight gain is good, so far I've gained a total of 9 lbs.
Mar.25/02 - (36 Weeks) Dr. Appointment Blood pressure is really good today. Just trying to kick this cold and get my back better.
Mar.18/02 - (35 Weeks) Dr. Appointment The rest is sure helping, my blood pressure is good, baby is looking good, not much to report.
Mar.12/02 - (34 Weeks) Dr. Appointment No change, my blood pressure is still 140/90, so today is my last day at work. I'll be taking it easy at home trying to rest up as much as possible. Probably just as well, my back has been out and causing me agony so I'll just have to get used to this rest thing!
Mar.7/02 - (33 Weeks) Dr. Appointment Well I've lost 3lbs, so now I'm at 10lbs total for this pregnancy. But, my blood pressure is suddenly high: 140/90. Dr. has told me to get in some bedrest every morning & afternoon to help keep it under control & avoid being on medication. I see him again in a week...
Feb.14/02 - (30 Weeks) Dr. Appointment Gained 2lbs - much better! Blood pressure is good, my tests came back fine. My hips have been so sore the past few weeks, I was convinced that baby had turned... and that's just what the ultrasound confirmed that baby is now head down. My guess is that it's a boy... we'll see! I've got to find a name, I've only got a girl's name in mind so far.
Jan.24/02 - (27 Weeks) Dr. Appointment I gained 8lbs since my last appointment - aahhh!~ Guess I should tone down that junk food once & for all! Atleast my blood pressure is still fine. Sent for the 2 hour glucose/hemoglobin test & will find out results at next appointment.
Dec.28/01 - (23 Weeks) Dr. Appointment Not much to report, no weight gain, no complaints.
Nov.29/01 - (19 Weeks) Dr. Appointment So far so good... I've actually lost 1 pound so far, so this pregnancy thing may be my new fad diet! I go for my next check-up Dec.28th.
Nov.22/01 - (18 Weeks) Ultrasound This was my detailed ultrasound, baby is doing well. She was kicking & moving lots during the ultrasound. Everything showed up normal, and got a picture printed. Will try to scan it in, but it's not very clear.
Nov.8/01 - (16 Weeks) Dr. Appointment Nothing much to report, everything has been great so far. The belly is definitely there, no more sleeping on my tummy for a while. Blood pressure, glucose & all blood work is normal. Scheduled for the 18-week Ultrasound on Nov.22nd.
Oct.3/01 - 1st Dr. Appointment Seeing the same OB/GYN as before. Got sent for the usual tests and go back in a month. Due date is April 25th, 2002.
Sep.26/01 - Ultrasound The ultrasound was so neat, even this early I could clearly see the baby moving and the heart beating. Now we now when I'm due: sometime in April (my doctor will give me an exact date next week). I am 9 1/2 weeks along. Click here to see the ultrasound picture
