Template

Open your template in PSP...open your text and shrink it to taskbar if you are using mine...close off all layers except the pillar left and pillar right layers...add a new layer... click on your text tool.. stroke set at null...fill set at your colour choice...mine is #949494... size set at 36...floating and antalias checked...type your name...add this inner bevel..

select none....place the text between the 2 pillars...like so..

re name this layer text...drag this layer to the top of your layer palette and close it off...now we have to type our name again only this time 1 letter at a time and each letter on it's own layer.... ... stagger the letters across the 2 pillars..like so

close off the pillar layers and any other layers that are open...and with just the letter layers open... layers>merge>visible...re name this layer...letters.. add the same inner bevel as before..

This is what your layer palette should look like

1)With the letters layer open...open pillar left and pillar right layers... open monster 1 layer...go to edit... copy>merged...open animation shop....right click in AS...choose paste as new animation...go back to PSP

2)Close off monster 1 layer...open monster 2 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

3)Close off monster 2 layer...open monster 3 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

4)Close off monster 3 layer...open monster 4 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

5)Close off monster 4 layer...open monster 5 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

6)Close off monster 5 layer...open monster 6 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

7)Close off monster 6 layer...open monster 7 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

8)Close off monster 7 layer...open monster 8 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

9)Close off monster 8 layer...open monster 9 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

10)Close off monster 9 layer...open monster 10 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

11)Close off monster 10 layer...open monster 11 layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

12)Close off monster 11 layer...open monster "arm under" layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

13)Close off monster "arm under" layer...open "monster ar middle layer....go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

14)Close off "monster arm middle layer....open "monster arm against post layer"...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

15)Close off pillar right layer...open "pillar right turn layer..go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

16)Close off "pillar right turn layer..open pillar right...close off monster arm against post layer...open monster arm middle ...with the "letters"layer the active layyer....go to image ..rotate...and put 15 and click on right.... go to effects>sharpen...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

17)Close off monster arm middle ...open monster arm under layer...with the "letters"layer the active layer....go to image ..rotate...and put 15 and click on right....this time move your letters down a little too... go to effects>sharpen...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

18)..with the "letters"layer the active layer....go to image ..rotate...and put 15 and click on right....this time move your letters down a little more... go to effects>sharpen...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

19)..with the "letters"layer the active layer....go to image ..rotate...and put 30 and click on right....this time move your letters down so the first letter is sitting in his mouth... go to effects>sharpen...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

20)With the "letters"layer the active layer...move the letters down so the second letter is sitting on his mouth..lasso the first letter and hit the delete button...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

21)With the "letters"layer the active layer...move the letters down so the third letter is sitting on his mouth..lasso the second letter and hit the delete button...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

22)With the "letters"layer the active layer...move the letters down so the fourth letter is sitting on his mouth..lasso the third letter and hit the delete button...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

23)With the "letters"layer the active layer...move the letters down so the fifth letter is sitting on his mouth..lasso the fourth letter and hit the delete button...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

24)With the "letters"layer the active layer...move the letters down so the sixth letter is sitting on his mouth..lasso the fifth letter and hit the delete button...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

25)With the "letters"layer the active layer...move the letters down so the seveth letter is sitting on his mouth..lasso the sixth letter and hit the delete button...go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

26)Close the letters layer....in fact you can delete the letters layer.. ..go to edit...copy>merged....in AS...right click on last frame and choose...paste after current frame....go back to PSP

From here to the end your text will be at the bottom, with each letter you "move down" you will have to move the letter up to the monster.....confusing but we don't want to have a jump in our name when we are finished

27)Open your text layer...duplicate text layer and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer...lasso all but the first letter of your name and hit the delete button...move the first letter up and into his mouth...go to...edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

28)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer...lasso all but the first 2 letters of your name and hit the delete button... lasso the second letter and move it into his mouth...select none...lasso the first letter and move it down and to the left....go to...edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

29)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer...lasso all but the first 3 letters of your name and hit the delete button..lasso the third letter and move it into his mouth...select none.... lasso the second letter and move it down from his mouth...select none...lasso the first letter and move it to the left ...select none.......go to...edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

30)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer...lasso all but the first 4 letters of your name and hit the delete button..lasso the 4th letter and place it in his mouth...lasso the third letter and move it out of his mouth...select none.... lasso the second letter and move it to the left ...select none.......go to... edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

31)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer...lasso all but the first 5 letters of your name and hit the delete button.lasso the 5th letter and move it in his mouth...select none.... lasso the 4th letter and move it out of his mouth...select none... lasso the 3rd letter and move it just a down just a little.......go to... edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

32)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer...lasso all but the first 6 letters of your name and hit the delete button...lasso the 6th letter and move it in his mouth...select none.... lasso the 5th letter and move it out of his mouth and to the right (in my case the name is long)...select none..go to... edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

33)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer...lasso the 6th letter and move it out of his mouth...select none.... lasso the 5th letter and move it to the right (in my case with so many letters) just a bit...select none... lasso the 7th letter and place it in his mouth.......go to... edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

34)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer.... lasso the 7th letter and move it out of his mouth....select none... lasso the 6th letter and move it down a little and to the right......go to... edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

35)Delete copy of text....duplicate text...and close off the original...with the copy of text your active layer.... lasso the 7th letter and move it out and to the right ....select none..go to... edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

36)Delete copy of text....Open text......go to... edit...copy ...merged...in AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.

Still in AS....click on edit....select all...click on animation...frame propertes...and set the frames at 25.......I put my last frame at 150 but this is your choice....and your done
