Bee Banner

This is a little tag written by Robert, welcome back Robert, it's been a long time since we have had one of your tags

This was written in PSP7 but should be able to be done in PSP 8 and 9. In PSP 8 and 9 you may have to click on the de form tool and then click once more on the canvas to get it to work

Banner Template

Open your template in PSP.....close off all layers except the right and left bee layers... the ones that will be holding the text.....add a new layer.... with your text tool...size set at 48...stroke set at null....fill set at your colour....floating and antalias checked...font Impact...or your choice....type your name....place it between the bees...move the bees in place.. while still active use eye candy 3000...glass with these settings

selections...select none....click on the text tool again and making sure your line is set at 2...stroke set at black...fill set at null...just click ok, your text should still be there....while still active...place it on top of the glass text...re name this layer text... selections...select none.....place each bee holding the text

Close off the text layer...add a new layer and with your selection tool...set at rectangle... draw a square from the left bee to the right bee...and about 100 in length... making sure it will sit on the inner bee's hand

Flood fill with the same colour as your text...add this inner bevel

re name banner....open the text layer and with the de form tool drag the text down to the same length as the banner and it must be the same height so you may have to drag it up a little too

1)Duplicate the banner...close off original......making sure the left and right bee layers are open.. and the bees are in place..... edit...copy merged......open animation shop....edit...paste as new animation>

When you are moving the bees.. click on the layer of the bee...then click on the de form tool and with the arrows to the right of the keyboard....click the arrow to move them, this way they will stay in a straight line

2)With the banner the active layer....click the de form tool and...squeeze each side in about 1 pixel (little squares)..this is going to take 5 moves so judge your distance with each move.... click on the right bee and move him over to the banner...click on the left bee and move him over to the banner.... edit...copy merged...in animation shop...right click on the animation...paste after current frame

3)with the banner the active layer....click the de form tool and... squeeze each side in abour 1 pixel.....click on the right bee and move him over to the banner...click on the left bee and move him over to the banner.... edit...copy merged...in AS....right click on last frame....paste after current frame

4)with the banner the active layer....click the de form tool and... squeeze each side in abour 1 pixel....click on the right bee and move him over to the banner...click on the left bee and move him over to the banner.. edit...copy merged...In AS click on last frame....paste after current frame..

5)with the banner the active layer....click the de form tool and... squeeze each side in abour 1 pixel....click on the right bee and move him over to the banner...click on the left bee and move him over to the banner.... edit....copy merged...In AS....right click on last frame....paste after current frame..

6)with the banner the active layer....click the de form tool and... squeeze each side in abour 2 pixels.. ...click on the right bee and move him over to the banner...click on the left bee and move him over to the banner....your banner should now be just a little slit.....edit...copy merged...in AS....right click on last frame....paste after current frame.

7)Open sc1 1 and drag down so only the tips of the scissors are showing........ edit...copy merged....in AS right click on last frame...paste after current frame..

8)Move sc1 up further on the canvas....so the handle.head and hands are showing.. edit...copy merged....in AS... right click on last frame....paste after current frame

9)move the sc1 up the canvas so about 1/2 of him is showing.....edit...copy merged... in AS right click on last frame...pasted after current frame

10)Move sc1 up the canvas to where all is showing ...edit...copy merged...in AS right click on last frame....paste after current frame

11)Move sc1 up to rest on the banner...edit...copy merged...in AS right click on last frame....paste after current frame

12)Close off sc 1...open sc 2.....place him right on top of bee 1....open previous layer to judge where to place him.....edit...copy merged....in AS right click on last frame paste after current frame

13)Close off sc 2...open sc 3....place him right on top of bee 2......edit....copy merged.. in AS right click on last frame...paste after current frame

14)Close off sc 3...open sc4....place him right on top of sc 3......edit....copy merged.. in AS right click on last frame...paste after current frame

15)Close off sc 4...open sc 5....place him right on top of sc 4......edit....copy merged.. in AS right click on last frame...paste after current frame

*You can judge the distance to move the text by the bees in the previous layers*

16)Close off banner...duplicate text...close off original...with the de form tool squeeze the text into the size the banner was between the bees.....edit...copy merged...in AS.. right click on last frame...paste after current frame

17)d Duplicate text...close off original...delete copy of text.... with the de form tool squeeze the text in about 1 pixel each side of the bees......** making the left bee the active layer...move him over so the hand touches the top of the text...do the same with the right bee....edit...copy merged...in AS.. right click on last frame...paste after current frame

18)Duplicate text...close off original...delete copy of text..... .....with the de form tool...squeeze the text in about another pixel **......click on right bee...click on de form tool and move him out to hold the text....repeat for the left bee...edit...copy merged... in AS...right click on last frame...paste after current frame

19)Delete copy of text...... duplicate text and turn off original.....with the de form tool...squeeze the text in about 1 pixel **...click on right bee...click on de form tool and move him out to hold the text.....click on left bee...move him out to hold the letter....edit.....copy merged...in AS...right click on last frame...paste after current frame

20)Delete copy of text....... duplicate text and turn off original.....with the de form tool...squeeze the text in about 1 pixel **....click on right bee...click on de form tool and move him out to hold the text.....click on left bee...move him out to hold the letter....edit...copy merged...in AS...right click on last frame...paste after current frame

21)Delete copy of text..... duplicate text and turn off original.....with the de form tool...squeeze the text in about 1 pixel **....click on right bee...click on de form tool and move him out to hold the text.....click on left bee...move him out to hold the letter....edit...copy merged....in AS...right click on last frame...paste after current frame

<22)Delete copy of text.....open text......click on right bee...click on de form tool and move him out to hold the text.....click on left bee...move him out to hold the letter....edit...copy merged...in AS...right click on last frame...paste after current frame

All done this part

Click on frame 1...holding down the shift key click on frame 21....right click on frame 21...frame properties set at 100... right click on frame 22...frame properties set at 125....here you can change your speeds if you are not satisfied

You are now finished...except.....I resized mine to 350...just a little too big for me.... your preference....
