Let There Be Light

Another great idea by Robert and I am lighting it up...so to speak...the graphics are all Robert's

This is a very easy tut and the glow effect is done with eye candy 3000

Let's light up our life

Template

is all you will need

Open the template in PSP and close off all layers except the bottom layer....open the font and shrink it to taskbar... add a new layer and flood fill with black...close off any open layers and layers>merge..... close off and re name background....click on the "bar" layer... add a new layer and with you text tool type your name....font debussy which is in the tools....size 48...flood fill set at white....stroke set at null...vector and antalias checked...type your name... and place the text on top of the bar....if you have a long name...with the side node..squish your name in to fit the bar...you may want to drag it up a little too....layers>convert to raster ....add an inner bevel with these settings

close off the bar layer...layers>merge...close off and re name text

1)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb....bar...layers>merge...close off and re name

2)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb......bar....hand open.. click the de form tool and with the ctrl key held down and using the arrows to the right of the keyboard (a trick I learned from Theresa).....move the hand just showing...layers> merge....close off and re name

3)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb.....bar.....hand open... click the de form tool and with the ctrl key held down and using the arrows to the right of the keyboard ....move the hand down...but not down as far as the first one.....we are bringing it up to the switch......layers> merge....close off and re name

3) Repeat this 1 more time......layers 4

5)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb......bar....hand open.......layers>merge...close off and re name

6)Duplicate and drag down...background.....bulb......bar......hand closed......layers>merge...close off and re name

7)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb.....bar... hand open......hit the de form tool and move it down just a bit...layers>merge...close off and re name

8)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb on......bar.....text...hand open........ click the de form tool and drag the hand down a bit...with the text layer the active layer go to effects... eye candy 3000...glow and add these settings

you might want to play with these numbers to get a lighter glow...your preference.....make sure your color on eye candy is et to white...or if you prefer to yellow

9)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb on.....text...bar.....hand open........ click the de form tool and drag the hand down a bit...with the text layer the active layer go to effects... eye candy 3000...glow and add the same settings...except change the width to 55.....layers>merge...close off and re name

*Note...if you do not want the fade effect I have just make the glow to each layer the same settings*

10)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb on......text...bar...hand open.... click the de form tool and drag the hand down a bit...with the text layer the active layer go to effects... eye candy 3000...glow and add change the width to 45.....layers>merge...close off and re name

11)Duplicate and drag down...background...bulb on......text......bar... ...with the text layer the active layer go to effects... eye candy 3000...glow and change the width to 35...layers>merge....close off and re name.

Duplicate previous layer...layers>merge...re name

Open all the glasses and save as

.....Animation.....

Open your graphic in animation shop...first thing we do is re size...animation>re size...I set mine at 400... edit>select all...edit..animation properties set at 31....right click on last frame...frame properties set at 125....second last frame...right click and frame properties set at 100... again play with these settings to get it the way you like...

Thank you for trying my tutorial
