Light Bulb

Another little brain wave of Robert's, I did change it a little because it's close to xmas and I know we all want new xmas tags

This is written with anyone with an "O" in their name, you may be able to do it with other letter's such as "B","D", or any other that make a circle

Light bulb supplies

Open your light bulb in psp, there are 4 layers...if you want just use the yellow layer...if you want a different colour...just click on that layer to highlight it and edit...copy...paste as new image.... use the magic wand and click inside the light bulb...and delete...add a new layer and flood fill the bulb with your colour... layers>merge visible... now you have your light bulb the colour you want it

Open your text and shrink it to task bar if you are using mine....Open a canvas 550x160, bigger if your name is bigger than mine and smaller if you have a small name.... ...close off all layers...add a new layer...name background...flood fill with black or your choice of colour... add a new layer and name it frame.....selections...select all... selections...modify...contract by 10.....selections...invert... flood fill with your colour and add the eye candy glass effect..

close off all layers except the background layer and the frame layer.... .add a new layer....with your text tool set at size 72... floating and antalias checked...stroke set at null fill set at your colour....auto kerring set at 55....type your name and place it in the middle of the canvas...give it the eye candy effect.....re name this layer text

Lasso around the letter you are going to use for the lights... click to tighten ants....edit...copy...hit delete....edit...paste as new layer and put it back in place.. re name this single letter....

Layer palette should look like this

1)With just the text layer...background layer...frame layer open...edit...copy merge...In AS...right click and paste as new animation>P>

2)Copy the bulb and paste as new layer...open the single letter... place the bulb on your letter...it may have to be turned, just hit it with the de form tool and turn it to fit the text....effects sharpen

make sure you sharpen each time you turn your bulb

close single letter...edit...copy merge...in AS....right click on last frame.. and paste after current frame

3)Duplicate bulb layer... open single letter...place the bulb on the letter and turn....place next to previous letter... ...edit...copy...merge...in AS.... right click on last frame and paste after current frame...

4)Back in PSP...open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to ......close off single letter.....edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

5)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to ...close off single letter...edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

6)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to.... close off single letter....edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

7)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to.... close off single letter...edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

8)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to.... close off single letter...edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

9)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to.... close off single letter...edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

10)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to.... close off single letter.....edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

11)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to.... close off single letter......edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

12)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to. close off single letter....edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

13)Back in PSP..open single letter...duplicate the bulb layer.. ..place the bulb next to the previous bulb and turn if you have to. close off single letter....edit...copy..merge... .In AS...right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

Your bulb should now meet

In AS...edit...select all....copy....right click on last frame...paste after current frame....animation...reverse frames...now we are getting someplace... ..right click on frame with the full set of lights....copy...right click on last frame... paste after current frame.....right click on frame 1...copy... click on last frame...paste after current frame....right click on frame with full bulb...right click on last frame....paste after current frame... ...right click on frame 1....copy...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

Here is where I re sized mine to 300, but this is your choice
