By the word rates: I will use the word count function on my word processing program. By the word is a "fixed rate" service, so your cost will never increase regardless of the length of time it takes to translate the entire work. By The Word users asking for translations greater than 10,001 words must pay a $100.00 advance fee which is redeemable upon purchase.Guaranteed Delivery Exclusive: "Guaranteed delivery exclusive" means I will spend the amount of time you request working only on your translation to the exclusion of all other activities. This option ensures the speediest translation, as well as the most precise. Guaranteed delivery service users will have their final price lowered for each day extra spent on translation. Prices marked with an asterisk are non-negotiable. Guaranteed Delivery Exclusive users asking for more than one month of exclusive translating time will require a 10% advance fee which is redeemable upon purchase. You will receive a free 500 word excerpt within 24 hours of my receiving the advance fee. I will translate the rest once I receive your final payment.
Add-on Cost: There is an additional add-on cost of $1.00 for each unrepeated line of rhyming and/or metrical poetry. This is to ensure that the poetry won't get "lost in translation"! The add-on cost for poetry will not apply if the minute rate is chosen. In the case of a refrain, repeated words and lines will not be counted multiple times.
Payment: I prefer to use PayPal, because it is much faster and more secure than other payment methods. (I use it whenever possible to make online purchases.) Prior to your purchase of a translation with 1,000 words (3 pages) or more, I will send you a small excerpt of the text being translated. If you are dissatisfied with the work you see, feel free to shop elsewhere. The excerpt is already yours at no cost.
