About 1000 years ago, There was a woman named Queen Serenity who lived on the moon with her daughter. Her daughter was growing up following in her mothers footsteps, on the moon there were balls and fireworks every night. Everyone was well, but Princess Serena often found herself staring at the Earth, for she had fallen in love with a prince there and was going to marry him. One night Prince Darien came to visit Princess Serena,"I have important news my love, an evil force called the negaverse is trying to take over the universe... they will start by destroying the moon. I must go now to fight." said the Prince. "No, Please don't go my sweet!" shouted the Princess. Princess Serena went to that night's ball, but Prince Darien asked her for one more dance, for it might be thier last time together. But it was too late, during the ball the negaverse attacked the moon.
Prince Darien went to fight but Queen Beryl, Ruler of the Negaforce captured him in something like a tornado. Princess Serena started to cry, she dashed towards her love and she was caught in the tornado too. Just as Princess Serena grabbed her prince's hand, a burst of light shot at them and they were killed. The negaforce was to strong for the scouts or the prince. Queen Serenity was devastated, she used her energy to capture the great negaverse in her Silver Imperium Crystal. "Cosmic Moon Power!" she shouted. With her last ounce of energy she sent everyone in the Moon to a new life on earth. Then Queen Serenity just lie there without energy on a rock. She also said, "Luna, Artemis, if the negaforce is ever to break out you must summon the Sailor Scouts to fight. "Yes" they said.
