should read.since not everyone has the album i thought i'd put this on the
here so everyone could see.It's a letter that Michael Houston wrote about carolyn:
In dedication to Carolyn Denise Houston,mother of my son Marques(Batman) Houston and my wife.
This all begins when i got out of the navy,back in 1972.I met Carolyn in August of that year. She had the most beautiful smile.That was the first time jehovah blessed me, it wouldn't be the last.I married Carolyn eight months later on april 20,1973. She told me later she knew we would get married.Carolyn seemed to know a lot of things. She knew how to love unconditionally.She knew how to be a woman,and a wife. She knew how to shop.She knew how to be a mother.She knew that i loved her. When you talk about her you talk about love.She showed me how to love and she thaught many of us here that it was ok to show love.She showed many of us here what a real friend was.I know for sure there are those of us here today that she touched with her love and her spirit.She had that uncommon abilty to to be able to see your heart.She was always concernd about her family and her friends.Even when she got really sick,she was still concerned about how i was holding up and if the kids were ok.She was an angel,she was my angel! she was ws strength.The bible says your mate should be your partner,in the case of carolyn and michael,she was my partner.She was strong when i was not. She was defensive when i was not.She understood when i did not.She was my best friend. If it were not for carolyn's presence in my life,i could not have become the man i am today. She was my dream girl.
I don't beleave carolyn was ever not in control.She made everyone comfortable with her honesty and her directness.There may be those who at one time or another underestimated her love or directness.There may have been those who may have at one time or another underestimated her determination and she would quickly set you straight.If anyone doubted her love for her children or felt she she was passive or timed,just mess with her kids or her family you would see more passin than you wanted to and she didn't back down.There is nothing she wouldn't do for her kids. If she had to fight with toothpicks she would.I know there are some who came to her for advice,me included.She gave the best most profound common sense solutions to your problums.You probably to this day remember what she told you and how it influenced you and your decisions.She was beautiful in so many ways,she had a beautiful smile and a beautiful heart.And I loved her and i hope all of you love her in the same way she loved you all!!!
