Important!

Hey everyone...this is VERY important. Last night on the National News (July 6) a Hanson fan met a person online with the SN UBZ@aol.com and he ended up being a molester =( UBZ claimed to be Zac Hanson, and she belived him. He is in jail right now, but this girl will NEVER feel the same around strangers. He tells girls he is Zac Hanson or some way related to them (the sad thing is I talked to him before!) and when Hanson goes anywhere he asks people to meet him around the area Hanson is (This girl was lucky enough to get away from this guy, but she will NEVER feel the same around people.

Internet Impostor Lures Hanson Fans TULSA, Okla. (AP) - An Internet impostor claiming to be a member of the teen group Hanson tried to lure an 8-year-old girl to meet him at a concert alone, one of several similar ruses involving the group.

"We've gotten several of these calls from parents," Tulsa Police Sgt. Rick Helberg said. "But none of the reports indicate that the suspects have gotten out of line or said anything inappropriate and we really can't do much with them."

The young girl searched the Internet for information on the singing brothers and began chatting with someone who claimed to be the youngest Hanson, 12-year-old Zac.

`Zac' offered the girl a backstage pass to the Hansons' concert in Tulsa, but said he only had one, so she had to come alone. That raised the suspicions of her father, who urged the person to call to confirm. The call never came, and the father alerted police.

"We don't even know if they are jokes or what the intentions really are," Helberg said.

I received this petition in the e-mail - I sent it to as many people as I could. This is serious, you guys. Internet abductions shouldn't happen, but they do. Whether the person is pretending to be Hanson or Santa Claus, I really don't care. But do not give any personal information about yourself on the internet. You can come up with an alias (like I did). But never give out your location.
