When they got to the hotel they were having the interview at everyone knew what to do. Stacey and Susie knew to try to hold Taylor and Zac's hand every minute of the interview. After a break, The interviewer, Bill Morlan said, "And now, the big moment. Just to let you know Taylor and Zac Hanson promised us they'd have girlfriends by the time they got here, and sorry girls, they came through with their promise. Lades and gentlemen, Hanson!! Hey guys! Oh! Excuse me, Guys and girls." "Hi!" Everyone said.
After everyone sat down Stacey wondered why Zac looked so red, and was shaking a little bit. Then she saw it, he was trying not to laugh! Well so would she if she knew a person for about an half hour and you said she was your girlfriend. "So. How did you all meet?" Uh oh, Stacey thought. "Well they aren't really boyfriend and girlfriend, just friends." Ike to the rescue. "Ah." Bill said doubtingly. "Well how does it feel to be Taylor's girlfriend, Stacey?" Bill asked. "Uh, well, I guess it, it feels cool!" Stacey answered.
"Aw! Very nice. And Susie? How about you?" "Well, it feels pretty neat." The questions and answers lasted for awhile. Then a break. Then other guest's, and then, "Okay, everyone, as you may know Hanson, and their girlfriends are here in Hawaii. We are going to ask them if they are going on any dates or anything. And if we can come along them, just to see what these guys do on dates."
"What's your answer?" Asked a backstage assistant urgently. Zac didn't hear her because was talking to Taylor and Susie. Susie had asked Zac something and he said, "Okay." The stage assistant nodded to Bill and ran off to do some camera work. "All righty folks they agreed..." Bill said. "Zac!" Taylor and Stacey hissed. "Why'd you say yes?" asked Taylor. "Sorry! It just popped out!" "Now you guys are gonna have to be our girlfriends longer, maybe all your lives!" Taylor said. "Zac, now their lives are gonna be just as busy as ours! Cameras, reporters, their houses might even become some sort of museum in like, 50 years!"
Everyone gave Taylor a weird look. "Well, maybe not all that but now your lives are gonna be different. Just because you came on this interview, not because of what Zac said." Zac let out a big sigh, "Thanks, Man." "Make it a double date so you can get it over with." Ike suggested. Everyone agreed, they would go to the mall, eat nsomewhere then go to a movie, then do whatever. They told Bill he could meet them at 6:00 the next day.
"Or if you canıt come, then..." Taylor said trying to get out of it. "I'll be there!" Bill said. Hoo boy!
At 5:30 the next day(they decided to come earlier than Bill) Stacey, Taylor, Zac and Susie meet at the entrance of SEARS. They said hi and took each others hand. They went over the things they were going to do, then Bill and his camera man showed up. "Okay! Now go on with your normal doings, just pretend we aren't here. This stuff is gonna be live. 1,2,3, action!" "So where did you want to go Stace?" Taylor asked.
"Well, how about we go to McDonalds?" "Sure!" said Taylor as he put his arm around her to cover his face and whispered, "This is hilarious!" Stacey giggled. She looked over at Zac and Susie, they looked terrible! Susie was trying not to laugh as Zac tried to impersonate his brother.
The rest of the date went like that. Taylor looking like a lobster, Susie giggling at whatever Zac said, Zac just was plain Zac, and Stacey was trying to act normal. They ate at McDonalds then they went to the movies and watched some kind of terror movie that none of them liked. Then Stacey remembered a store called Borders books and music (the place she got her Hanson CD). "Hey, you guys wanna go there?" she asked. "Sure!" yelled Zac as he took off dragging Susie with him.
"Okay lets go." said Taylor. Bill said he and the camera man (who's name was Jeff) needed a break and said theyıd meet them at Borders in about 20 minutes. "Sure." said Taylor gladly. Taylor looked at his watch and almost yelled, "Oh my gosh! It's almost ten o'clock! Man all that went by fast! What time did Ike say he would pick us up?" "Um, 10:00." replied Stacey. "We better find zany Zac and sweet-eyed Susie before Bill and Jeff get back." "Race ya!" Taylor said taking off.
