Suddenly the door burst open and scared the girls half to death. Kelsey looked at Taylor and asked, “ What’s that gleam doing in your eye?” Taylor said nothing. He looked at Zac and nodded. Then suddenly Tay grabbed Kelsey and Zac grabbed Jeni. They kissed them aggressively and forced thier mouths open. They carefully placed their gum in the girls’ mouths and drew away. The girls sat there, stunned, smacking away on the gum.
Then Kelsey and Jeni looked at each other and nodded. They tackled their boyfriends and put the gum back into their mouths while kissing them playfully. The guys grinned at the girls and asked in unison, “Want some ABC gum?” The girls cracked up at this. “No, thanks guys. I think we’ve had that before,” Kelsey said grinning. Then Zac said, “Okay, fine then. No gum.” Then he spit his out and grabbed Jeni and began kissing her. Taylor immediately followed in suit and for the next few minutes the two couples, to put it simply, made out.
“Guys?” came a voice. Everybody let go of whoever they were holding onto to look at a rather amused Isaac staring at them. “It’s nice to see you guys coming up for air,” he said grinning at his two blushing baby brothers. “Ike...” Taylor began. “Don’t bother - I’m not telling - and you can bribe me later,” Isaac said with a gleam in his eye. This was definitely going to be worth something.
“Here are the girls’ blankets,” he said unloading the huge pile of blankets he had in his hands. Come on, you guys, we’ve got a performance tomorrow.” He ushered his little brothers out of the room, but not before each of them kissed their girl. “Walking hormones,” Ike muttered under his breath. But he was smiling. He could’ve sworn a week ago Zac was walking around saying, “Ew, girls, ew. They’re infested with cooties!!! They all come from CootieLand!!!”
All of the guys went to their rooms. Then at about eleven pm, Zac got up. He wanted to see Jeni. He very quickly slipped out of bed, but he shivered. The only thing he was wearing was his boxers, and he didn’t have a robe. He didn’t care, though. He very quietly walked down the hall and into the main room. He saw Kelsey sleeping quietly and peacefully on one couch, and Jeni doing the same on the other. He walked up behind and touched her cheek. It was cold.
Then he noticed she had fallen asleep and kicked all of her blankets off. He smiled at her, thinking, “That’s exactly what I do.” He walked around the couch and put the blankets back over her. He thought about it for awhile and then gave her a kiss good-night. “Zac?” came Isaac’s quiet voice.
“What are you doing?” Ike asked quietly. Zac didn’t answer him. Isaac repeated his question over and over again, but Zac never answered. Finally, Jeni said sleepily, “Zac, please answer him. I’m tired.” Zac considered it, “Do a get a kiss?” Jeni smiled sleepily and said, “Sure.” Zac finally turned around and asked quietly, “I’m standing here, Ike. What does it look like?” Isaac grinned. He decided not to push it - he had been in Zac’s situation before. He just smiled and went back into his room.
“Where’s my kiss?” Zac demanded slightly too loud. “Wherever it is, it best not be in here because I am tired,” muttered Kelsey, who was rather irritated. Zac very quickly looked at Jeni. She motioned for him to come closer. She silently but lovingly kissed him. He smiled and whispered, “I love you,” in her ear and crept out of the room.
Jennifer smiled as he left the room. She noticed her blankets were back on her. “Zac,” she thought, smiling. She sat there, thinking how much she loved him and how sweet he was. She realized when he told her he loved her, she hadn’t said she loved him. She smiled and decided to.
