Then he heard footsteps and quickly hid himself in a closet. He heard a voice whisper, “Kelsey, wake up. Kelsey, come on. I want to show you something.” He opened the closet door slightly and saw Taylor Hanson sitting beside Kelsey’s sleeping body and softly stroking her cheek. When he laid his eyes on this scene, he felt his anger rise. He should be the one stroking her cheek, not Taylor.
He watched Kelsey’s eyes slowly flutter open. When she saw Taylor, she smiled at him and whispered, “What do you want to show me?” In response, Taylor sat her up and placed one finger on her lips to prevent her from asking questions, “Get dressed and I’ll show you, ‘kay?” he asked. Kelsey nodded and quickly went into the other room to put on the clothes Mr. Hanson had provided for her. She quickly put her hair in a ponytail, smiling and wondering what Taylor could have in suprise for her.
Little did she know, somebody else knew about their little adventure, somebody that would do anything to prevent Kelsey from smiling at Taylor. Somebody who would do anything to make sure Kelsey was his. As he sat there in the closet, he carefully felt the gun he was holding. He stroked the metal object that he had decided was going to end Taylor’s life.
Just then Kelsey walked out of the room and Taylor put his arm around her. “You know, those clothes look better on you than they ever did on me,” he whispered. Kelsey blushed and then wrapped her arm around his waist, “Lead the way,” she whispered as she gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.
Taylor quietly opened the door and closed it behind him. They walked down the hall, not noticing the quiet figure creeping behind them. Taylor led Kelsey out of the hotel and he ushered her behind the hotel to a wooded area.
Kelsey smiled at him. She didn’t know what surprise he had in store for her, but she knew she would probably love it. Little did she know, Taylor wasn’t the only with a surprise in store for her.
