He took her into his room and looked at her. He saw her eyes dancing, since she had just seen that crazy dance. He looked at her and said seriously, “Kelsey, I have something to tell you.” At this, her eyes stopped dancing and became dead serious, “What’s wrong, Taylor?” He looked at her. “This is as hard as heck,” he thought. He grabbed her hands. “Nothing’s wrong, Kelsey. I just have to tell you something,” he said as he stared straight into her eyes. He looked at her. He couldn’t do this if he had to look at those eyes. They made him crumble inside. “Close your eyes,” he whispered softly.
Kelsey looked at him questioningly, but obeyed. Taylor moved his mouth close to her ear and whispered, “I love you.” Kelsey’s eyes shoot open. They looked at him questioningly, but more importantly, lovingly. They locked eyes and suddenly she whispered, barely audible, “I love you, too Taylor.” This was what Taylor had hoped for. He leaned close to her, their lips just almost touching. They paused for a moment, and then softly met. Kelsey was amazed. His kiss was sweeter than anything she had ever experienced. She suddenly realized this was how Jennifer felt about Zac. It was love. But Kelsey doubted that even the word ‘love’ could possibly describle what she felt for Taylor.
Taylor’s lips tingled. He very softly put his finger on Kelsey’s lips. She kissed his finger. He smiled at her as he brought his lips to hers. Suddenly he got the urge to try something new. He opened his mouth slightly and slowly put his tongue into hers. She was a little surprised at first, he could tell, but she relaxed and began to enjoy the new sensation. She decided to try it herself. She moved her tongue up just a little so it caressed his.
Taylor felt her put her arms around his neck. He suddenly felt a new surge of emotions and feelings. God, how he wanted this moment to last forever. He loved her so much it hurt. Suddenly he felt Kelsey’s tongue slowly enter his mouth. She caressed the top of his mouth very delicately. Taylor slowly moved his tongue so they touched. He played with her tongue for awhile before she withdrew and kissed him lightly on the lips.
Taylor and Kelsey just stared at each other. Taylor finally whispered, “I love you, Kelsey.” Kelsey almost couldn’t believe that he was saying those words, “I love you too, Taylor.” Then she added, “God, I love you so much it hurts.” Taylor’s eyes met hers. “She really does love me as much as I love her,” he thought. He brought his lips to hers one last time before Zac burst in there shouting, “Dinner!!!”
Taylor took Kelsey’s hand and walked out of the room with her. Zac took one look and immediately knew when he saw Taylor look at Kelsey: they were in love. It was the same look he gave Jeni. He smiled. He almost couldn’t believe they didn’t even know these two girls yesterday and already they were in love with them. But he could believe it when he looked at Jeni. She was so kind, so beautiful, so smart, so perfect. He loved her so much, if she smiled he felt his heart jump. If she cried, as she had done eariler, he felt a huge weight in his heart, as though time stopped if she wasn’t completely happy. He just loved her with all his heart.
Taylor had begged his dad to let them eat in the living room and just have a relaxed dinner. Mr. Hanson agreed since he didn’t know the girls and thought they would probably be more comfortable that way. Zac’s eyes lit up when the Domino’s pizza man walked in. He was in total shock that this was Hanson and nearly dropped the pizzas. Zac grinned. He took the pizzas as Taylor paid the guy and ushered him out the door.
After the tiring ordeal of getting what everyone wanted (which took about thirty minutes) they all sat down except for Mac, Avery, and Mr. and Mrs. Hanson, who were in the other room. Soon, Isaac and Jessica were done and left the room. It was just Kelsey, Jennifer, Taylor, and Zac. When Kelsey was done eating, she popped a piece of gum in her mouth: Winterfresh. She offered one to everybody, and all but Jennifer took one.
For some reason, Taylor had suddenly become very hyper and Zac had too. Jennifer and Kelsey just laughed at them. Once, Kelsey laughed so hard she nearly choked on her gum and had to spit it out. Zac thought as he smacked away on his gum. He suddenly grinned mischeivously. “Tay, come here,” he said as he yanked his brother into the other room. Kelsey and Jennifer grinned at each other. “I hate to think of what they’re planning to do in there,” Jennifer said, grinning. Kelsey agreed, laughing.
