The four of us continued walking to the skating rink. My grip on Taylor's hand had tightened and I had pulled his body closer to mine. We finally arrived at the rink and headed in. A few girls stared at us but they just looked away. I'm supposing it was because me and Sandy were with the guys.
Taylor pulled me out there on the floor after my rollerblades were on good.He had a firm hold of my hands and (with him facing me)he started skating backwards. I giggled and smiled at him, which formed a gleeful look in his crystal blue eyes.
I looked over at Sandy and Zac and they were having fun skating hand in hand and doing tricks. I was a little peived that I couldn't do any tricks, but I liked the way Taylor's hands felt against mine. They were soft and smooth and I could feel them twitch every so often. He would smile at me occasionally as we glided across the floor and I would smile back. It was a very peaceful moment and I enjoyed it, I just wished we could spend it doing other things. I mean he'll be leaving for a few months and I won't get to see him till after Christmas.
He pulled me over to the side and we headed off the floor. Taylor's hands didn't leave mine for a second. He escorted me to the snack room and we got two root beers and twizzlers. The two of us sat down at one of the tables and talked for a while as we dined. His hand was on the table and I wanted desparatly to take it in mine, but instead I just stared at it. I watched his fingers twitch as they laid there on the table and I marveled at what beautiful hands he had. I'd never seen a hand that could compare and I like a man with good hands. The softer and bigger the better. Hehe they're better for caressing. Taylor's were moderatly big and very, very soft so I thought they were perfect.
He looked at me and then he reached across the table and took my hand. I looked up and in the next moment that our eyes were locked something passed between us. All I know is that I was in love. Something in his eyes told me that he was different than any other guy and that he would treat me right. Before I could finish scanning his soul, he leaned in and so did I-without even caring that everyone there could see. We kissed and kissed and when I pulled away all my lipstick was on him. We giggled and looked around with red faces. The whole crowd was hovered around and pointing at us. I just looked in the other direction and waited for them to leave.
They did as I expected and Taylor looked at me, taking my hand in his again. "I'm sorry Sky. I wasn't thinking clearly. I looked in your eyes and something just told me to kiss you and it was like I couldn't stop myself."he explained in almost a whisper of a tone. I leaned over and whispered back, "I don't care what they think."We smiled at each other and he held my hand tighter. "Come on."he said and helped me up. We headed back out to the floor and started skating again. I was a little better at it, but not good enough. Or well, I liked to make him think I needed his help. That way he has to stand by me and hold my hand and sometimes my waist to make sure I don't fall.Everybody was watching us but I didn't care, I was too wrapped up in Taylor and my skating and the way he looked at me.
