Chapter 5: Welcome to the Jungle II

Welcome To The Jungle
Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games
We got everything you want, honey, we know the names
We are the people that can find whatever you may need
If you got the money, honey, we got your disease
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Watch it bring you to your sha na na na na na na na knees
I wanna watch you bleed
Welcome to the jungle, we take it day by day
If you want it you're gonna bleed, but that's the price you pay
And you're a very sexy girl thats very hard to please
You can taste the bright lights, but you won't get them for free
In the jungle
Welcome to the jungle
Feel my, my, my serpentine
I, I wanna hear you scream
Welcome to the jungle, it gets worse here everyday
Ya learn to live like an animal, in the jungle where we play
If you got a hunger for what you see, you'll take it eventually
You can have anything you want, but you better not take it from me

I woke up and looked at the figure laying next to me. I immediatly looked around the room in a nervous fashion and saw Taylor nowhere. How could Chad have gotten past both Taylor and Clarke? I looked back and he grabbed me and kissed me in a way that I guess was supposed to be passionate. If so, boy was he wrong! His lips were chapped and he had bad breath, not to mention that he was holding me too tight and he was hurting me. He pulled back, licked his lips and smiled. "My girl's still fiesty I see."he chuckled. I got up and tried to run, but he grabbed me and pinned me down to the bed. "Let go of me!"I screamed, and tried to wiggle free. My voice would be hoarse for the next week. "Chad, stop it!" He put a pillow over my face to hush me and then pulled it back away. "Taylor! Clarke somebody!"Nobody would help me and I was screaming and crying hysterically. My dream played itself in my head.

I was walking down an alley with my discman on my head when somebody came up and grabbed my waist. I was pulled into a building and stripped out of my dress. I saw Chad's face staring down at me...

When I cam back to reality the first thing I saw was Chad's face, as he positioned himself over me. Clarke came barrelling butt in the room and jumped at the bed, pushing Chad off of me and onto the floor. Clarke landed on top of Chad and punched him repeatedly in the stomach and face. When he was done, he stepped up and walked over to me, leaving Chad laying on the floor in a heap. "Skyler, are you okay?"he questioned, out of breath and sounding worried. "Yeah I'm fine, just a little startled."I replied. "Where's Taylor?"I questioned, now me being the worried one. "I dunno. He never came downstairs."Clarke rpelied. That was when I started getting worried.

There was a thump coming from the balcony and we headed over to look. A loud thump came next as I opened the door. Taylor was tied to the railing! I rushed over and untied him. "Oh god Taylor. You're lucky he didn't kill you."I cried and buried my face in his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and held me tight. "I'm just glad you're okay. I heard you screaming."Taylor looked up at Clarke with a puzzled expression. "Where's Chad?"he questioned. "He's in Sky's room, laying in a heap on the floor. I beat the living shit out of him."Clarke sounded excited as he went on about his triumph. I lifted Taylor's shirt and examined his torso. "Skyler, what are you doing?"Clarke questioned. "I'm checking to see if he got hurt."I said without even looking up."Gheez Sky, lighten up."he continued. I thrust my upright middle finger and continued inspecting Taylor. I looked at his arms and if we had been going out I would have taken his pants off and checked his legs, but I'd feel strange doing that during our current circumstances.

"I'm fine Skyler."Taylor said, trying to hide a chuckle. "I just want to make sure."I replied in a serious tone. "Well, you look fine, except for a cut on your arm."I said and positioned his shirt back. "The cut's fine."he said in a slightly agitated tone. "Well, I wanna wash it anyway."I insisted and dragged him into the bathroom, watching the two of them shaking their heads at each other the whole way. I sat him on the counter and got out a washcloth. "Ouch gheez."he said and flinched. "Sorry. It's that negative attitude you've come across."I giggled. He just glared at me. I washed it off and said, "And now for added tlc, I'll kiss it."and kissed his arm and giggled. I watched him as he bit his lip and I mean hard. He looked at me with a sly expression painted on his face and said, "My lip hurts." I giggled and replied, "Well after that I should say it does." I brought his face to mine and kissed him lightly on the lips. A little bit of blood got on my lip and I felt a tear form in my eye. "Thanks I needed that."he chuckled and hopped off the counter. "You're welcome."I said and watched him as he walked.

The phone rang and it was Taylor's mom. "Yeah mom. Okay, I'll be leavin in a minute. Yeah okay. She's fine now. I know it is horrible isn't it? Well I'd better go if you want me back at the hotel. Bye mom."he hung up and walked back up to me with a sad look on his face. "Mom wants you home huh?"I asked. I didn't sound so gitty myself. "Yeah." he replied and looked back up at me, fom having his head hung. The frown on his face grew into a sly smile and he pushed me against the wall, kissing me passionatly. I closed my eyes and engulfed myself in the surge of emotions. I was shocked when I saw the all-too-famous fireworks, cannons, rockets, and explosions. He pulled away and I looked up at him with a dreamy look and whispered, "I don't want you to go." I felt my lip quiver. "I don't want to leave, but I have to."he said and ran the back of his hand down my cheek. "But...but..."I began. He started walking off and I exclaimed, "I've never felt this way before."my tears formed and fell in a matter of seconds and I added, "And you're leaving me, and you'll probably never come back to Kinston."
