Until the age of 18 I lived in Asuncion, Paraguay. My Senior Year in high school, I decided of going abroad to the United States. During my years here I have traveled wisely within this great nation and also Europe. It forever changed my view on life and taught me so much about cultural differences, foreign places, people and myself. It was as if I were a sponge, wanting to absorb everything. We can learn from the diversity that exists in the world and those differences do not necessarily mean worse, but should be understood, respected and shared. Unfortunately, too many people spend too much time rushing that they regrettably forget to enjoy life day by day. It is not nor should life be a race. It is a journey, unique to each one of us, a road that we can create as we go: defining it in our own way that is the wonder. The only true success is living one's life in the way he/she chooses. There are no directions, and for me although at times there lies much excitement, there has also been fear and frustration in the uncertainty. I have found that from being honest with myself and trusting my instincts and heart and rising to the challenges along the way, I have enjoyed my journey and look forward to the many adventures of the future.
