Chapter 2- Da Dip

Taylor and Isaac were sitting in chairs, staring at her. "What happened?" you ask, kneeling by Meghan. "She walked in, took one look at us and then fainted," Zac said. He was waving a magazine over her. She sat up and ran into the lobby, embarrassed. You follow her and she sat curled up in one of the chairs in th lobby. "It’s not that bad," you say. "Yes it is," she says, her cheeks flushed. "The only people in the room were them, me and you. They feel really bad, I don’t think you’re stupid and that only leaves you, so don’t feel bad, no one thinks you’re stupid." "I guess," she says. "You coming back?" you ask her. "Yeah," she says, standing up.

You go back into the room and Amy and the little kids were doing "Da Dip" again. The guys were sitting in the chairs and Amy and everyone couldn’t stop looking at them. They finally left, figuring out that they were causing people not to cooperate. They came back a little while later and everyone ignored them this time. You scoot over to them, pulling Meghan along with you and you whisper, "What are you doing here?" "Well, our mom was checking out that church over there. We remembered where you said you danced and decided to check you out." "Well I’m glad you came, this is Meghan," you tell them. "Hi Meghan," the guys chorus.

"Girls, go over ‘Step Into Our World,’" Lonnie told you. You line up and Isaac, Taylor, and Zac start clapping and yelling, "Go Kristin!!!" You shoot them an evil glance and they shut up immediately. After you dance the little kids get up again and Lonnie makes them do the worm (don’t ask, it’s a very painful dance move) across the floor. The people who weren’t dancing were sitting up front. When the little girl got to you, you said, "I feel very bad for you." You look over at Zac. His mouth was hanging open and he had a very painful expression on his face. Taylor’s eyes were wide open and so were Isaac’s. "Ouch!" Isaac finally exclaimed.

After they were done, Isaac’s cell phone went off. (Actually it was his dad’s) Isaac stepped out of the room to answer it. He came back and said, "That was mom, she got involved with some church stuff and she’ll be gone a while. We gotta find some way home." "How about Kristin?" asked Taylor. "Oh yeah," Zac said.

You learned a new part to "Step Into Our World" and they called it quits. You walked over to the guys and Taylor said, "Hey Kristin, do you think we could get a ride from you? Our mom’s busy with some church thing." "Sure," you say. Isaac calls his mom back and tells her. "Looks like we’re gonna have to stay at your house, we have no house key." "No problem," you say.

You walk out to the lobby and it’s gotten dark. They start to go outside and you stop them. "No! Don’t go out there, my dance teacher’s sister got jumped by four peole out there." "Oh," Zac says, jumping back. "There’s my mom’s car, now we can go," you say. They follow you out to your mom’s car and you open the door and say, "Mom, Hanson needs a ride and to stay at our house until their mom gets home." Your mom is in awe and says, "Sure, get in get in." They pile into your car and since three in the middle is too crowded, you and Taylor sat in the way back of you ’95 Taurus station wagon. Isaac and Zac sat in the middle seat.

You and Taylor were sitting in the seat that faces backwards so in order to talk to Isaac and Zac, you had to turn practically all the way around. "So you guys never told me what you were doing in a dump like Victorville, " you tell them. "Oh," Zac says, "Well we are still really living in Tulsa but on our way to Vegas, we passed through here and our mom really liked the area. We are renting that one house over there." "Oh," you say. "So I won’t see you guys that much?" "Well if we are doing something in LA then have a break and have to do Vegas or something, we’ll stay up here. And we are in LA a lot." "True," you say. "Why don’t you get a house in LA?" "Too dangerous." "Oh yeah, well Victorville is a really safe place. Well, where we live it is." "Not many fans is there?" "A lot actually but just not the screaming kind." "Ahh," says Isaac.
