BOOK REVIEW

On this page there will be a few book reviews at first and I will add more when I get the time(schools starting soon). I should have 5-10 up before school starts. Most of the books I own are Fear Street and Sweet Valley High. I recently bought about 7-8 Anne Rice books. For those who don't know they have to do with vampires. I have the whole Vampire Chronicles Series. Enough with the chatter now let's get at 'er! My rating system consists of 1-4 "balls"(the colored flashy things at the end of the review). 1 being the worst....4 the best. NOW FOR THE REVIEW.................(the prices will be included)

Title: Shadowmaker Author: Joan Lowery Nixon Price: US $3.99/$4.99 CAN Intro: When Katie Gillian and her mother move from Houston to a small Texas town, they never imagine that voilence and intrigue will interrupt their six-month stay. Could the two bodies found have anything to do with newspaper articles Katie's reporter mother is writing--or with the shadowy figures Katie has noticed lurking outside her house at night? In my opinon this book is an excellent example of a good thriller novel. Violence and intrigue are the right words to descripe what happens to Katie. I personally couldn't put this book down at all. Any teen would love this book and I urge you to find out! Rating:

Title: Beverly Hills 90210 "Fantasies" Author: Darren Star(tv series creater) Price: US $3.99/$5.99 CAN Intro: "The summer sun is fading for the kids of 90210" As vacation draws to an end, the gang of West Beverly High gets together around a campire for a final farewell to their lazy days at the beach. When Brandon complains about spending his vacation as a cabana boy, a unique game of "what if" begins... The Question-What would be the perfect fantasy of life long after the days of high school at WBH are left behind? *Does Dylan's ultimate fantasy involve Brenda or is this just a case of "high school sweethearts"? *Will thrill-seeker Brandon be an adventurer, always on the edge of danger? *Can Donna and Kelly break away from their pampered pasts, or will they remain in the lap of luxurious living? The Walsh twins and their hip friends bare all to each other and the answers they give are both funny and surprising, yet somehow so right... I watched this on tv(after reading the book) and I liked watching it on tv, but if you happened to miss it this book has it all. I would give this book a 2 and a half but hehe I can't *l*. I wouldn't give it a full 3 though. I like the show and all but I would rather "enjoy" watching it on tv. Rating:

Title: Bodies of the Dead and other ghost storiesAuthor: Assorted authors Price: Unknown to me This is an awesome book full of scary stories with authors like Harriet Prescott, Julian Hawthorne, Edgar Allan Poe and others. Some of the titles are Bodies of the Dead, The Golden Rat, The Doll's Ghost, The Intoxicated Ghost, and more. You don't want to read this book alone muhahaha *wink* I read this book on and off I haven't really "finished" it yet. It's interesting but I'd rather read a novel that is about one thing. Over all a good book. Rating:
