Championship Manager 2

This page is dedicated for all CM2 lovers. Some of my friends think that the game is exceptionally stupid. But to me, I think that this is the best football simulation game on Earth.

I am currantly playing as Crewe manager and is very happy that my team has promoted to the Premier League but also in the Cup-Winners-Cup after my team defeated Liverpool in the finals 3-1. I am still locked will this game for the moment so the number of updates in this page will lessen.

Cheats

Getting players for free (v1.37 + 2.00 only)

筆ake sure the selling team and the player is interested.

桧ffer the team any price that it accepts right away.

匹lick on the option 'Adjust Offer'.

稗ring down the offer to 'FREE'.

疋o NOT press 'OK'! But DO press 'CANCEL'.

漂ou will now get your offer accepted...

Keeping players with "Big Club Release" Clause

謬ransfer list the player for LOAN.

標hen clubs want him, then REJECT.

謬hen your player won't leave the club.

Picking up future stars

紐ight after the computer has done it's first update after season end, go to the Player Search screen.

膝o to the Euro Scout, and sort players by value.

稗rowse down the list until you find players that have no average rating ("---").

謬hese are players that have replaced old stars.

稗uy them if you want, most likely they'll join you, no matter what team they play on.

稗e prepared to spend one season to build them up... remember; they're new!

Managing a National Team

百tart a new game.

姫ick a national team.

謬ype your name as the current national team manager.

髭.g. "Glenn Hoddle" to become the England manager.

Player Exchange Cheat (cm2 v1.37 only)

漂our lousy, cheap player is wanted by another club.

柊djust the asking price for this player to a VERY high price.

桧ffer the player in exchange by making a bid for an interested player for the interested party's expensive star player.

Attacking power

Playing 4-4-2, move your left back to a striker position (in between the two strikers already there), and then move your goalkeeper up as a left back. Your goalie now is supposed to be both a left fullback *and* a goalie, which gives you some more attacking power.

Boring Cheat

柊dd more managers (max. 8) and do some nice transfer to swap good/bad players and to move some money from other clubs to your club
