For many years,
ages to be exact, we have been searching for those
elusive creatures that inhabit our forest and
glens. Some claim to have been in contact with
these wonderful little people. Yet nowhere are they
being hailed for their good deeds to our forest
creatures.
The care they give
the wildflowers and the wild herbs. How
secretly they help people who are truly in
need. We hear so much about angels helping the
human race, and of faeries bantering about in their
circles deep in the woods
Sometimes they
even take up residence in a person's home. The tale
of the shoemaker is a prime example of gnomes helping
a human being in need. When we treat them well they
will keep an eye out for the farm animals and the
crops, doing odd jobs when needed.
Gnomes are found all throughout
the northern hemisphere, from Russia to Europe,
England, Canada and the USA. However, due to such bad
treatment of mother earth they are forced deeper and
deeper into the forest regions, and higher up into
the North Country.
Now entering the new millennium,
they are eager to help once more. Now people have
woken up to the fact that Mother Earth needs help and
are trying to correct that wrong doing . These
are the kind people, who will see and interact with
the gnomes, taking on this mammoth task of
replenishing the earth.
