Chapter 9
We left totally happy and in tears. Stephanie's mom came to pick us up and we were then dropped off at the hotel. We ran in really fast because we knew exactly what we wanted to do, we went around to the bac kdoor of the hotel to look for the tour bus. But there wasn't anything there. "This sucks!" I said unhappily. Stephanie shook her head in agreement. We didn't know whether they might have been before the concert and were maybe already on the road or what to think. We walked up to the front desk to double check, "um....can you please tell me if any rooms here are registered under Hanson;" I hopefully asked the desk woman. "Yes, there are.." She said eyeing me suspiciously, obviously knowing what we were up to. We took a chance," Uh....could you please tell us the room number?" Stephanie asked hopefully. The women raised her eyebrow at us, " I'm sorry, but this room has made a request not to give out that information to anyone." The woman said haughtly. We walked off; "Yah, your really cool there" I said just loud enough for her to hear. I shook my head and glanced at my watch, it was after midnight. We walked over to the pool room and looked inside, "This is going to be so awsome!" I said excitedly looking at the waterslide. The pool had closed at 11:00, but would be opened at 8:00am the next morning. We walked away and went back to our room. We got ready for bed, not that we had any intentions of actually sleeping. I pulled on my navy and white plaid flannel pajama pants and a grey camisole top. I pulled open a bag of chips and turned on the TV, then jumped onto my double bed. We devoured chips and a two litre of Dr. Pepper and watched TV for a while, finally I yawned and we decided it was time to get to sleep. We talked about the concert for a while more before we started to drift off to sleep.
