I caught myself wasting time today. I was in one end of the house tidying up,
picked up one item that needed to travel to the other end of the house and nearly set off! I
stopped myself just in time. I glanced around and sure enough there were other items to be
delivered to their places. I gathered them ALL up and delivered them as I passed through
the house. It's such a little thing but will save you tons of time in the long run...
Shopping Mall Fire Alarms...Do you know what your children would do in an
emergency? .Instruct your child if he is alone to look for the closest exit and stay there
until the alarm is shut off or receives further instruction from security personell.
When my children were younger, the alarm went off...we were together and came to no
harm. It did give me the opportunity to discuss the situation with them. Here is what they
said!
One would look for the closest exit.
One would do whatever everyone else was doing.
Did you ever wonder what you could add to your letter to make it just that
little bit more interesting? I have a few suggestions to get you started......photographs,
seeds from your garden, bookmarks, fridgies, sports cards, hair ribbons, recipes, pocket
calendars, emery boards...to name but a few! Now, who haven't you written to in the last
year?
The perfect basket for the father to be...Fill diaper bag with gum, magazines,
quarters for the phone, notebook for telephone numbers, chocolate bars, novel, book from
the humor section of a bookstore...to keep his mind occupied if he can't quite get into the
novel!
SAYING I'M SORRY
Purchase a wine glass and include a note. When you want to make up and just can't find
the words, just fill the glass with water and take it to your loved one. If your love drinks
the water, you'll know that you apology is accepted and your problem washed
away!
Stay tuned for more to come!
