Yoda was borned ca: 400 BSD (Before Senate Dissolved) on a planet unknown by Star Wars enthusiast.Yoda is a member of an unidentified ,almost reptilian, species. His small size and frail appearance often led to misconceptions of his true power. Yoda became a Jedi master and spent most of his life time aboard the Ch'unthor, a space fareing jedi academy, training young jedi. Yoda's teaching style was diverse as he tought the aspiring Jedi to view the force from all angles. He also avoided the use of light sabers in hisd training as he was too small to use one himself, also a Jedi master is never unarmed.
Two of his most prominante students where Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker. Although Yoda was a Jedi master he was not strong enough to withstand Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. As the Emperor continued his galaxy wide extermination of the Jedi Yoda went into hidding on the back water planet of Dagobah.
Even through Dagobahs dense forests and fog enshrowded sky Yoda watched the activites of young Luke Skywalker. Yoda saw great promise and power in the son of Anakin Skywalker.
Following Obi-wan Kenobi's enstructions Luke went to Dagobah to learn from the fabled Jedi master Yoda. But Yoda saw Luke as impetuous and full of anger. Yoda only begain training Luke when Obi-wan pointed out how similar he was to Luke when first training at Yoda's side.When Luke left in haste to confront Vader on Bespin and save his friends, Yoda began to age rapidly as he knew that if Luke was turned to the dark side their would be no hope for the Galaxy. With luke at the Emperors side the whole Galaxy would be quickley consumed by evil.
When Luke returned to Dagobah he became worried for Yodas deteriorating health. Luke was worried and eagerly coaxed his old master to help him continue his tarining. Yoda had other intentions for Luke, he told the young Jedi that with his return to Dagobah his training was complete. Luke was amazed that his powerfull master would die infront of his eyes but even the force has it's limits.
He died with one of his best student by his side and became one with the force as only a master of the light side could do. His last words were
"Luke...Luke...Do not...Do not underestimate the powers of the Emperor, or suffer your father's fate, you will. Luke, when gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be. Luke, the Force runs strong in your family. Pass on what you have learned, Luke... There is...another...Sky...Sky...walker."
