Issue 1

This Issue:
1. What to look for in 2D/3D Cards.
2. Our top ten video cards.

1. Graphics chip:
For the ultimate experience, go for the board with the latest and greatest
chip you can afford.
2. Maximum resolution:
Get the maximum resolution your monitor will allow. Our recommendation: at
least 1,600 by 1,200.
3. Video RAM:
2MB is not even considerd a chip. Just 4MB will make you suffer, 8MB is
acceptable, but 16MB is best for big graphics performance.
4. Included software:
If you don't get a free, specially enhanced game, what's the point?

Thease cards are rated by performance, graphic memory, refresh rates, color
compacity, compatibility, support and most important THE BEST FOR YOUR
MONEY!

My order of best graphic cards (from best to worst):

1)ATI Rage Fury MaXX PRO
1)ATI Xpert 2000
2)Creative Banshee (PCI or AGP)
3)Voodoo2 1000
4)Heculies Prophet 3D
5)3D Annihilator Pro
6)Riva TnT 2
7)Savage4 3D (AGP)
8)SiS Multimedia 3D-2D-DvD (AGP)
9)Voodoo 3 5500 (AGP)
10) Riva TnT 1 (PCI)

Good luck trying to find a good card cause I think the best deal here is the
VooDoo2 1000 because it has a good memory capacity, good refresh rate,
pretty good speed, HOT colors, and best of all OpenGL and GLIDE!

Next week's newsletter will consist of processors.
