I relized yesterday that my ADVANCE career is over. That kind of shocked me, and i relized that I was going to miss everyone. So i've compiled this as sort of a place to reflect on the past two years.
ADVANCE 97--Lisa, the dissapering roommate
How they put Lisa and i together, I will never know. It is my personal belif that they do not really look at the roommate forms we fill out. I think they colorcode them (Well, these two are the same color...what room is vacant...)After the colorcoding process, they promptly feed them to the rats of Prudhomme or the leser mice and spiders of Caddo. Anyway-How many people remember Lisa? I do, but only for the three days she was there. She and Nannie were the two kicked out for smoking that year. I guess the point of this rambeling is that they obviously do not read the roommate things. I mean, i've had discussions about this--if two people put basically the same things down on their sheets, they are within a year of each other age wise, and have basically the same class choises, wouldn't you think you would be roommates with that person? Not at ADVANCE, where they stick you with someone who has absolutly nothing in common with you!
