1. What is your favorite movie?
I like "Goodfellas" a lot, I know Eli likes "Night Shift", I also liked the "Truman Show."

2. What CD are you listening to right now?
I'm listening to Jets to Brazil a lot, Eli likes Heroic Doses, we all like Superdrag's Head Trip in Every Key record.

3. When can we expect new Popes CDs? It's rumored that there's going to be one with all your 7"s, a rerelease of "Get Fired," and a live CD.
The CD w/the 7"s will also contain 5 songs from the covers record we recorded, and "Get Fired." It will be out by mid March at the latest. We will be doing some shows in March/April to support it. The live record will come out shortly after the 7"s record.

4. Why did the Popes leave your label, Capitol Records?
They just didn't seem to be very into us anymore, so we exercised a pay or play clause in our contract, and now we're free.

5. In an all out Smoking Popes band brawl, who would be the last one standing?
I would have to say Eli would be the last one standing in a brawl of Popes.
