1. How did you come to playing drums for the Alkaline Trio?

Matt [Skiba] called me and asked me if I'd like to be in their band, I said "I'd love to". I've been a fan of the Alkaline Trio since the first time I heard the For Your Lungs Only EP.

2. Will Alkaline Trio now go over to Double Zero Records?

The Trio will not be going over to Double Zero Records. We're going to stick with Asian Man. I'm actually excited to meet Mike Park (the head of Asian Man Records), I'm sure I can learn a lot from him.
There might be an Alkaline Trio 7" or Ep on Double Zero later this year sometime though.

3. How long had you been in the band and how many times did you get to pratice before your first show?

I had only been in the band about 5 days or so before the Metro show on the 23rd. We had practiced 3 times.

4. How do you feel about taking over for a drummer like Glenn who is obviously so loved by the fans?

As far as taking over for Glenn goes, it's a hard job. Glenn is a great drummer. I'm just trying to do the best I can. I'm not really trying to emulate his playing because our styles are very different. I am however having more fun playing the drums right now than I have had in several years.
