Year ago there was a page on Rastafarianism and one page on Reggae, than it was a directory @ Sellassie Cyber U and now "Children of Jah" website on http://www.reggaestreet.com/1/sellassie!Many other Sellassie pages lived through the same evolution -- they grew.
What do I expect from the new year and new century?
More of it!
Thank you!

Practice differs widely among Rasta groups regarding celebration of Holadays. Days that may celebrated as Rasta Holadays include:* His Majesty Irthday Jul 23
* Anniversary of His Majesty Grounation visit to Jamaica Apr 19
* His Majesty Coronation Day (some celebrate this for 9 days including today, Nov 2-10)Major Ethiopian Ortodox Holadays include
* Ethiopian Christmas or Gena Lidet Jan 7
* Ethiopian New Years September 13 (inqutatash)
* Ethiopian Easter / Passover, called FaseekaThere are also the Ancient Holadays mandated in the Ethiopian Bible Books of Jubilees & Enoch, and also in the Temple Scrolls (the so-called 'Dead Sea Scrolls'), etc. but they are not commonly observed and all their exact dates are uncertain. They include:
The days of remembrance of the Flood, to mark the beginning of the four seasons. The feast days of wheat, barley, oil and wine crops
The Senbet or Sabbath is recognised as a more hola and special day by all Rastas who follow the Ten Commandmants. So Rastas will try to avoid doing Work on this day. For those Rastas who do not recognise this, they need to check His Majesty Selassie I own Words on the subject. It starts in the evening and include the next morning.
As for Thanksgiving, that's the one I&I celebrate every day!
Peace & Love, Ras Feqade I
