1.4.99

I nearly wrote 12.4.98 you know. At least, I nearly wrote 12, but I stopped and wrote 1.4.99 instead. It takes a bit to get used to writing a new number.

My eyes are tired, they've been open since too damn early this morning. I bet I could just fall asleep, right now. Well, maybe I couldn't. I am at the Soldotna Public Library. Except, it isn't the Soldotna Public Library, it is the Joyce K. Carver Memorial Library, which is just now penetration my awareness. Ooh, "penetrating."

There are such a lot of words which are associated with sex, like "penetrating," or "abstinence." Sounds like agood thing to make a list of. Right-o, must do. Well, may do. Coming soon! innuendo.html

So many important-type things that my non-existant readers do not know...

From my vantage point here, I can see a book called the odessa file, by frederick forsyth. No capitalization. I can also see a book which I originally thought was called Dune, except it then look to be Dunne, and the author? Paula Clark, maybe. But no, the font and my eyes and the distance are all conspiring against me, and it is Fatal Charms, by someone with the last name of Dunne. I wonder how that one is pronounced.

Damn, I wish my pen could keep up with my thoughts. My head is three topics -- four or even five, I forget now, ahead of what I'm writing. Pretty durn furtstratin', 'tis.

I think this pen may be givin gup on me. My trusty Pilot Precision Rolling Ball, which has been with me since school started... This is one of my blue ones. I think I've got about 5 or 7 or something. Two-three blue, 3 black, one red, one green. I want a purple one.

So many important-type things my non-existant reads will never know because I babble on so. Btw, I'm achieving infamy. Limited infamy.

There's a whole rack of romance novels. I see a Danielle Steele, a harlequin... I should read one, for Susan. I was read

No! It stopped writing...

I was reading one of Susan's books this summer. I think she took it away from me. I forget. Yeah, I think she did, for reading excerpts and laughing. Lemme snag one of the ones...

"Cecilia and The Stranger" by Liz Ireland. Ooh, 'tis a 'harlequin historical.' "Jake Reed was not the man he claimed to be." Right-o. Cover: Cowboy type, back towards us, cowboy hat in one hand, other around the wispy waist of the heroine or, if it's not the heroine, she's probably on the back looking mad. Nope. Back depicts same couple snuggling in the light of a campfire, ...leaning on the tack of a horse. His horse's tack, I would suppose.

Alright, I open the book once, completely randomly.

"Suddenly, she wanted to touch him as he was touching her. Her hands moved boldly to unbutton his shirt, though anxious fingers trembled as they worked, reavealing a solid muscled chest liberally dusted with dark hair." Oh yeah. Then she wants to discover the taste and texture of him. (How does that dark hair taste, I wonder?) Ha! Then she wakes up in the morning with "the world's heaviest, sweatiest coverlet" sprawled on top of her.

"I must admit, I was worried when I ran up and found you two rolling together on the ground." You, gentle reader, must realize that if I wasn't in a library, I would be rolling on the floor laughing. Truly, romance novels are so damn funny! I've got to remember that, next time I'm feeling too serious I will have to flip through one of those books. Anxious hands!

It is absolutely freezing cold. 3 degrees at 3:45, probably colder now, the sun is down. When I was walking over here from the elem school I nearly fricking froze. My fingers froze, my toes got cold, my ears froze and especially my nose froze. I think even my snot froze. I know that is not a pretty image, Please be aware that you chose to read this, and that by making that decision you are at risk of exposure to such images.

I wish one of my parents would finish work and come and retrieve me.

Do romances ever come out in hardcover?

I'm cold, and I'll probably not get around to typing this till next month or something.

And why is this guy sitting over there, looking at books and periodically making grunting/growling noises?
